株式会社学情は、全国の大学3年生、大学院1年生を対象に毎年行っている「就職人気企業ランキング」の過去20年間(2005年卒～2024年卒)の結果を比較した。20年前にあたる2005年卒のランキングでは、ソニー、サントリー、トヨタ自動車がトップに、2024年卒のランキングでは伊藤忠商事、任天堂、講談社がトップ3となり、人気企業も20年間で様変わりしている。
調査によると、20年前にあたる、2005年卒の「就職人気企業ランキング」では、1位のソニーを筆頭に、5位に富士通、7位に日本電気（NEC）、8位に松下電器産業（現：パナソニック）が続き、上位10社のうち、「電気機器メーカー」が4社を占めた。また、2位にサントリー、10位にキリンビールと「食品メーカー」も複数社ランクインしている他、3位にトヨタ自動車が入っており、20年前は「メーカー」が根強い支持を集めていたことが分かる。

For the 2020-2024 graduates, ITOCHU Corporation dominated the top spot for the fifth consecutive year.Nintendo graduated 5th in 2021, and has climbed year by year to 9th in 2022, 6th in 2023, and 5nd in 2024. Since the ranking of 2 graduates (2022 survey), Kodansha and Shueisha have also become regulars in the top 2020.It can be seen that companies that provide digital content such as games, electronic comics, and videos are gaining support from students who are digital natives.
