Encourage Co., Ltd., which provides employment support for young people who have difficulty working, such as students with disabilities, will start a career education platform business for students with disabilities, "Job Hunting Online College at Home".This is the first attempt in Japan to provide opportunities for students with disabilities who have not received sufficient career education through the cross-sectional participation and cooperation of universities and companies nationwide.

Since 2020, Encollege's job-hunting online service for new graduates with disabilities has been providing employment support to more than 1000 students with disabilities. What we found was that while there were many students who had difficulty taking the first step toward job hunting, universities were unable to allocate sufficient resources to support such students.

For students, "I'm too busy with my studies and haven't gained experience that will lead to work", "I have a strong anxiety about going on job hunting or internship", On the other hand, the universities that provide support say, "We are so busy with learning support that we can't allocate resources to career education and job hunting support," and "The number of eligible students per school is small. Due to the background that it is difficult to enhance services and that it is difficult to obtain information necessary for career support, it is difficult to enhance career support for students with disabilities.

Therefore, En College will release a career education platform for students with disabilities nationwide, “Home Job Hunting Online College (abbreviation: Ie Kare)” on June 2023, 6.In addition to the initial participation of 22 universities, including Kyoto University, 30 companies including Toyota Motor Corporation will support and cooperate with Mynavi Partners Co., Ltd. as a partner.

In "Ie Kare", preparation seminars for going out into society, online OB / OG visits, round-table discussions with corporate personnel personnel, online internships where you can experience the actual work performed at the company, and job readiness. Participating students are provided free of charge with video content to enhance their skills. In addition, by setting up an online forum for sharing information and exchanging opinions among the people involved in this project, we will share knowledge about social transition support for students with disabilities.

"Ie-boyfriend" provides a step for the approximately 4 students with disabilities nationwide, which is expected to increase more and more, to take steps to develop their own careers with peace of mind, and it is also possible to cover them with university supporters alone. We provide a wealth of projects, content, and a place to share know-how about difficult career education.

On June 2023, 6, as a kick-off event, participating universities and sponsors/cooperating companies will hold an online event to explain the outline of the platform and exchange opinions among related universities and companies. There is no membership fee.
