On October 2023, 10, Senshu University held a press conference to introduce Campus DX. Starting in 20, we are planning to roll out the "SiU (Socio-intelligence University) Glocal Smart Campus," which aims to build a digital education and research system. Introduced BYOD (Bring Your Own Device), which uses PCs for learning.Furthermore, the use of a system combined with virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) will begin in April 2024, and approximately 2023 PCs on campus will be phased out next spring.

　Many universities have already introduced BYOD, which allows students to use their own PCs for learning, and many have also introduced virtual desktop-based VDI systems.On the other hand, there are few universities that combine these two to create a complete environment that all students and faculty can use.Senshu University has approximately 2 students and approximately 1 faculty members.As of October, approximately six months after the service began for all students and teachers, the service has been successfully utilized without any major problems.

　Senshu University's 21st century vision is to develop "Socio-Intelligence," and in order to improve educational effectiveness and research efficiency, we conduct digital education research that utilizes AI and implements various support functions. The company has decided to introduce the system.All students and faculty members can safely access this system at any time, not only from their university campus or home (local), but also from their study abroad destinations such as international exchange partner universities, or their research stays (global). We are now able to provide a robust environment that never stops learning, even in the face of a pandemic.

　The use of ``generative AI'' such as ChatGPT in daily life is becoming commonplace, and it is likely that more effective use will be made in the coming year.
