At the Meiji University Museum, a special exhibition "Kanda Sending! University Sports Trajectory" is being held from January 2020th to April 24th, 4.In addition, an incandescent symposium "Kanda Outgoing! Modern Sports and University Sports" by Olympians and academic experts produced from Kanda University will be held at Meiji University Global Hall from 12:2020 on February 2, 29.

 
 Senshu University, Meiji University, Chuo University, and Nihon University, which set up campuses in Kanda, Chiyoda-ku in the early days and still have school buildings or facilities, have played a leading role in student sports since the Meiji era, and in various sports. We have been competing for the results. The history of Kanda University sports for more than a century has continued to contribute significantly to the spread and development of modern sports in Japan as well as student sports.

 2020 is the year of the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, which is a sports festival, and at the same time, it is the 100th year since the university of Kanda produced the first Olympic athletes.That led to the holding of this exhibition and symposium.

 At the symposium to be held at the Meiji University Global Hall from 2020:2 on February 29, 13, Masaaki Kaneko (Mexico City Olympic Gold Medalist), Ryuichi Sugiyama (Mexico City Olympic Bronze Medalist), Daisuke Nishikawa (Seoul) Six Olympians, including the Barcelona Olympic bronze medalist, talk about the past, present and future of college sports.Both exhibitions and symposiums are free of charge.
