Until now, university entrance exams have not been considered an academic subject of research, but academic grounds and evidence have not been reflected in system design. However, as university entrance exam reforms are steadily progressing, there have been calls for the placement of experts who can contribute to appropriate decision-making in departments specializing in entrance exams at each university.

In response to this, the University Entrance Examination Association has decided to develop human resources who can design systems based on academic knowledge and who can lead university entrance examination reform, and to explore connections with systems in other countries.
