Three national universities, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Muroran Institute of Technology, and Kyushu Institute of Technology, have signed a memorandum of understanding for industry-academia-human resource development collaboration in science and technology. Through joint research projects and human resource development, we aim to achieve international research standards and to develop human resources who will support industrial development.
According to Kyushu Institute of Technology, the memorandum signing ceremony was held at the Tokyo Institute of Technology Ookayama Campus in Meguro-ku, Tokyo, and was attended by Tokyo Institute of Technology President Kazuya Masu, Muroran Institute of Technology President Yoshitaka Kuga, and Kyushu Institute of Technology President Yasunori Mitani. signed a memorandum of understanding.
The memorandum calls for the promotion of joint research projects and personnel exchanges, the social implementation of research results through open innovation, the establishment of an educational system to create innovative human resources, and the promotion of collaboration with other universities, including those overseas.
After the conclusion ceremony, a three-university collaboration symposium was held at Tokyo Tech's Kuramae Hall, with subcommittees divided into three categories: "Food & Health," "AI," and "Aerospace." Professor Kiyotaka Tokura and others presented their efforts in each field.
