Kansai University of Foreign Studies is planning to establish a new ``Department of Asian Co-creation'' in the Faculty of English and International Studies in April 2025 (planning for establishment is currently underway). Kansai University of Foreign Studies will open new departments in April 4: Faculty of International Symbiosis, Department of International Symbiosis, Faculty of Foreign Studies, Department of English and Digital Communication, Faculty of Foreign Studies, Department of International Japanese Studies, and Junior College Department, in April 2023. This is the third consecutive year following the Future Career English Department.

Now that Asia is becoming the center of the world, it has become an urgent issue to transcend national and cultural differences, build networks in cooperation with Asian people, and develop human resources who can play an active role as global leaders. In April 2025, the Department of Asian Co-creation, which is scheduled to be established in the School of English and International Studies (currently under construction), will provide students with practical skills in English and other Asian languages, as well as encourage students to respect diversity and be flexible. Develop human resources with an international mindset who can respond effectively.

In addition, by accepting international students from Asia and studying together with Kansai University of Foreign Studies students, they gain deep knowledge and education regarding history, society, and values, and based on this knowledge, they can promote mutual understanding, collaboration, solidarity, and coexistence in Asia. Cultivate the "co-creative power" that can be realized. Furthermore, while respecting each other and creating new value, we will develop human resources who can contribute to solving global and Asian social issues, and contribute to world peace and sustainable development starting from Asia. The enrollment capacity is 200 people.

With the establishment of the Department of Asian Co-creation in the Faculty of English and International Studies, starting in April 2025, Kansai University of Gaidai will become a university with four university faculties, eight departments, one course, two junior college departments, and a graduate school.

Furthermore, for the 2024 entrance exam, Kansai University of Foreign Studies has announced that it will provide support through the ``Kansai University of Foreign Studies Tanimoto Disaster Benefit Scholarship'' to prospective students who were affected by the 6 Noto Peninsula Earthquake.
