Japan Airlines (JAL) has signed a memorandum of understanding with the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). This is the first time that JAL has a wide-ranging cooperative relationship with overseas universities, and will support researchers and students in research in Japan.

JAL Engineering USA, a JAL Group company based in Los Angeles, has been working with UCLA's Terasaki Center, a Japanese research base, to develop human resources, provide training opportunities, and contribute to society. Work on solving social issues in earnest.
