Saitama Institute of Technology and ITbook Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of ITbook Holdings, will participate in the "Development of Amphibious Unmanned Driving Technology-Yamba Smart Mobility-" project in the Yamba Dam area of Naganohara Town, Gunma Prefecture from April 2020. ..We are constructing an automatic operation and operation system for amphibious buses.This time, ITbook Holdings has obtained an experimental test station license for "local 4G radio stations".We will verify the effectiveness of local 5G for remote monitoring and remote control of autonomous driving test vehicles and ships in this demonstration project.
The local 5G verification machine introduced this time is the local 5G product "AU-500" developed by Abit.Local 5G enables smooth remote control by transmitting high-quality and real-time data on self-driving vehicles and ships in addition to high-resolution images, and by monitoring and controlling vehicles traveling by self-driving.Currently, it is used for research and development on the campus of Saitama Institute of Technology, but it is also planned to be used for technological development of amphibious unmanned operation and operation around the Yamba dam.
