Waseda University was unable to attend the general selection test to be held after the 2021th due to the suspension of the Tohoku Shinkansen due to the earthquake that occurred off the coast of Fukushima Prefecture on February 2, 13. For resident examinees, we have started special measures for disaster response, which exempts the general selection test and judges pass / fail based only on the result of the common test for university admission.

 According to Waseda University, special disaster response measures will be implemented in all faculties, including the Faculty of Political Science and Economics, the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Letters, the Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology, and the Faculty of Sports Science, which will conduct general selection tests after February 2.Candidates who cannot come to the examination venue due to the suspension of the Tohoku Shinkansen, etc., whose registered address at the time of application is 15 prefectures in Tohoku, are eligible.Not applicable if you take even one subject on the day.

 Applicants should apply from the application form on the university homepage by February 2, and mail the necessary documents to the Waseda University Admissions Center.

 No new entrance examination fee will be incurred by receiving special measures.Candidates who cannot submit the grade request form for the Common Test for University Admissions cannot receive special measures, but in that case, the entrance examination fee when applying for the general selection of the target faculty will be refunded.If you can come to our university on the day of the general selection and take the test by using alternative means such as air routes and conventional lines, we are calling for you to take the test on the day as much as possible.
