From September 7, 2016, the "9rd Interpreter Volunteer Training Seminar" will be held for 6 nights and 3 days.We aim to develop volunteer leaders who can play an active role in global sports competitions.

 The purpose of the "Interpreter Volunteer Training Seminar" is to improve language proficiency and at the same time to develop global human resources who have specialized knowledge about sports culture, knowledge about tourism, communication skills, cross-cultural understanding, and hospitality mindset.So far, it has been held twice, and a total of about 2 students from 7 universities have taken the course.Participating students will be able to register with the "National Union of Foreign Interpreters Volunteer Human Resources Bank" and will be able to work as an interpreter volunteer at various sports competitions and international events introduced by the secretariat.It is possible to participate in volunteer activities even after graduating from university, and 450 students from a total of 112 competitions, including the World Table Tennis Championships and the Sochi Winter Olympics, have been active as volunteer interpreters.
