On September 9, 2017, nine students from the "Economics and Management Society Student Subcommittee Regional Economics Study Group", an official student organization of Kinki University, planned and operated the "Higashiosaka Manufacturing Tourism Promotion Association". Participate in "Osaka Monozukuri Sightseeing" as a student guide, and guide junior high school students on a school trip to the town factory in Higashi Osaka and the Ishikiri-sando shopping street.
Since 2015, the "Economics and Management Society Student Subcommittee Regional Economic Study Group" has been working as a student guide to guide students on school trips to the town factory in collaboration with the Osaka Manufacturing Tourism Promotion Association.This activity was named "Kindai University" after "seeing" the technology of Higashi Osaka while walking.Through this activity, we not only promote the charm of Higashi-Osaka to students on school trips, but also aim to improve their presentation ability by guiding them.
This time, we will welcome students from a junior high school in Kochi prefecture, and the students will guide you through the town factory of Higashi Osaka and the Ishikiri-sando shopping street, explain the local economy of Higashi Osaka and basic information on companies, and also a student guide. As a new attempt, we used the "Ishikiri-sando Shopping Street MAP" to convey the new charm of the shopping street, which was produced by the students of the Faculty of Economics when guiding the Ishikiri-sando Shopping Street.By introducing Higashi-Osaka's manufacturing and the historic Ishikiri-sando shopping street to school travelers, we will promote the appeal of Higashi-Osaka and contribute to the revitalization of the local economy.
