 According to Recruit Institute of Advanced Studies, the estimation was based on the basic school survey of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. The 2033-year-old population in 18 will be 101.4 million. It is expected to decrease by 2021% from 114.1 million in 11.1.The decrease will increase by 2021 at a stretch from 2024 to 8, then increase by 2024 from 2026 to 2.9, and will recover temporarily, and then return to a further decrease.

 Of these, 2021 for boys will decrease to 58.4, and 51.9 for girls will decrease to 55.7.There was no difference between men and women in the rate of decrease and the timing.

 It will decrease in all prefectures except Tokyo is expected to increase by 3.1% and Okinawa by 1.0%.The highest rate of decrease was 26.9% in Aomori prefecture, followed by 26.1% in Akita prefecture, 23.6% in Yamagata prefecture, 22.4% in Iwate prefecture, and 20.6% in Nara prefecture.The Tohoku region occupies the highest rate of decline.

 Looking at the rate of decrease by region, the Tohoku region had the largest decrease of 20.5%, followed by the Koshinetsu region at 18.2% and the Hokkaido region at 17.8%.The largest decrease is estimated to be 2.6 in the Kinki region.
