"Architecture" has long been a comprehensive discipline that combines not only engineering elements such as structure and materials, but also literary elements such as architectural history and design history, and artistic elements such as beauty and design. ..Furthermore, with the addition of modern elements such as environmental symbiosis, regional revitalization, disaster prevention reconstruction, and landscape preservation, it is becoming an increasingly wide-ranging academic field that cannot be covered by engineering alone.
At Daido University, based on the concept of exchange (cross), the X (cross) building, which was born in April 2021, will be set up in the faculty of "architecture," "interior design," "civil engineering / urban environment," and ". We will develop a full range of practical education in the four fields of "Kaori Design" and a program that crosses them.By acquiring knowledge in various fields related to architecture, we aim to develop human resources who can respond to changes in the times and society and change the future.
