It is an urgent task to develop the information utilization ability and problem-solving ability of young people who will lead the next generation.The Edogawa University Information Education Research Institute holds a study group every year to discuss these issues. In 2022, we will focus on "data utilization," which is essential for "Information I and II," and will focus on gaming. Think about the possibilities.In addition, participants can also experience by introducing gaming materials for data science education.

　The theme of this study group is "How to realize a class in the information department that fosters problem-solving skills."The study group consists of two keynote speeches and research presentations and workshops.The keynote speech will be "Information I on the theme of SDGs (provisional)" and Yoshikawa by Mr. Toshiki Matsuda (Professor, Faculty of Liberal Arts Research and Education, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Visiting Professor, Institute of Information Education, Edogawa University). "Education and Gaming (tentative)" by Hajiko (Professor, Faculty of Commerce, Keio University).In addition, at the research presentation and workshop, we will introduce the text "Introduction to Data Science for Problem Solving" and experience gaming teaching materials.Those who wish to participate need to apply from the dedicated form.

　Edogawa University Information Education Research Institute conducts education and research in a wide range of fields with the keyword "information" with the aim of contributing to the development of Edogawa University and society.The goal is to develop students with information literacy, logical thinking, problem-solving, and ethical attitudes in collaboration with each ministry, private university information education association, various academic societies, and boards of education.
