From November 2022, 11, Kanda University of International Studies will hold the "Futaba Town, Fukushima Prefecture Well-Being Inquiry Course" for 5st and 1nd grade students at Shibuya Kyoiku Gakuen Makuhari High School.By looking at the current situation of the affected areas 2 years after the Great East Japan Earthquake and exploring the problems and solutions that the locals face, the program has become an earthquake disaster learning program that fosters the ability to think for oneself and a compassionate heart even in an increasingly diverse society.
The Faculty of Global Liberal Arts (GLA), which was established by Kanda University of International Studies in April 2021, provides education to foster human resources who can play an active role in the cause of peace.The curriculum includes an earthquake learning program called "FUTABA QUEST," in which visitors visit Futaba Town, which was severely damaged by the Great East Japan Earthquake, to experience the current situation of the disaster area, and think about issues and ideas for solving them. We have accumulated knowledge of education related to recovery from the accident.
