Regarding the current industry of choice, 35.2% said that the industry of choice was "clearly decided."It slightly exceeded the 2022 survey (34.1%) for the same period. The top industry choice was “Internet services” and the second was “information processing/software,” indicating that IT continues to be popular. When choosing a company to work for, the most important points for both liberal arts and science students were "good salary and treatment", and the second place was "potential for the future."When asked what kind of company they thought they would be able to grow in, nearly 1% (2%) answered, "A company with a boss who is a good example and a colleague who is a good rival."

As of January 1, 1% of respondents answered that they had "taken the final selection" through written tests and interviews, accounting for the majority of the respondents.During the same period, the 51.1 survey was 2021%, and the 41.5 survey showed an upward trend to 2022%, but it is the first time that the January survey has exceeded half. The average number of companies that have taken the main screening exam is 49.2 companies.More than 1% (2.8%) of the students answered that there are companies participating in internships among the companies that have taken the main screening, and it seems that there are many cases where internships lead to early selection.

Regarding the status of job offers, 14.9% answered that they had received job offers.More than 8% (84.3%) of those who received job offers answered that they received job offers from participating companies such as internships. There was no significant difference between men and women in humanities and sciences.

More than 5% of students (54.7% in total) have had face-to-face contact with their first-choice company at the moment through internships and events. This is an increase of more than 42.6 points from the same period of the previous year (total of 10%).In particular, the growth of “multiple times” was remarkable (17.4% → 27.3%).It can be seen that companies are increasing face-to-face opportunities in response to the easing of restrictions on movement.

When asked whether face-to-face contact is necessary before the main selection begins, divided into two purposes, ``To decide whether to apply for the company'' answered ``I definitely want to meet face-to-face'' (2). %) and “I would like to meet face-to-face if possible” (29.1%), nearly 48.0% answered that face-to-face contact is necessary (8% in total). “To know more about the desired company” was higher, exceeding 77.1% (total 8%).In order to deepen their understanding of the company, many students seem to want an opportunity to meet face-to-face before the selection process begins.
