The Tokyo Keizai University Regional Collaboration Center has been producing and distributing the podcast (audio) program "Kokubunji Radio" on its official website since April 2023.The content introduces the town, people, nature, history, etc. of Kokubunji, where the campus is located, in depth.
1976年の国分寺には、村上春樹さん（当時27歳）、竹中直人さん（当時20歳）、忌野清志郎さん（当時24歳）、押井守さん（当時24歳）、中山ラビさん（当時27歳）など後に著名人となる若者たちがいた（※1976年4月1日現在の年齢）。番組ではサブカルチャー、カウンターカルチャーの視点から、1976年頃に国分寺にいた若者たちの姿を時代背景とともに描くことで、国分寺のまちに今も流れ続ける「自由を求め組織を求めない人たちが持っている精神」の源流をたどる。
