Shiga University and digital system construction company CAC (CAC) have signed an agreement to promote collaboration and cooperation in the field of data science.In the future, we will promote joint research and form a scrum to develop young human resources.
According to CAC, under the partnership agreement, Shiga University will provide support by providing knowledge gained from research so far for new services related to data science that CAC is promoting, while data such as emotion recognition AI (artificial intelligence) possessed by CAC will be supported. Utilize collection and analysis tools for problem-solving learning at Shiga University.
Shiga University established the first Faculty of Data Science in Japan in 2017 and the Graduate School of Data Science in 2019, attracting attention.Since then, he has been leading Japan in research in the field of data science.
CAC was founded in 1966 by Computer Applications. After changing the company name to CAC in 1994, the company was split in 2014 to shift to a holding company system, the main body changed its name to CAC Holdings, and a new operating subsidiary, CAC, was established.Its business includes system construction, operation services, and data science-related services.
