2023年7月21日に大学通信が発表した「2022年実就職率ランキング」において、昭和女子大学は卒業生1,000人以上の全国の女子大学で3位となった。卒業後に留学を選ぶ傾向が強まったことで、12年続いた「女子大学実就職率No.1」はわずかなポイント差で逃したものの、2022年度卒業生の実就職率※は94.6％と変わらぬ高さを維持している。

From 2011 to 2022, Showa Women's University won the top spot among women's universities with more than 12 graduates for 1,000 consecutive years.Over the past five years, there has been an increasing tendency toward career-track and semi-career-track jobs, and in 5, just under 2022% of students found employment as career-track and semi-career-track jobs.In addition, there were more cases than usual of international students who were unable to study abroad due to the COVID-4 pandemic, choosing to study abroad instead of finding a job immediately after graduation.By faculty, the actual employment rate was 90.7% (94.8% in the previous year), 97.0% (94.6% in the previous year) in the Faculty of Global Business, 95.1% (94.5% in the previous year) in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, 95.6% (94.1% in the previous year) in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and 94.9% (94.5% in the previous year) in the Faculty of Human Life Sciences (current Faculty of Environmental Design, Faculty of Gastronomy and Health Science).
Professor Jun Ito, Director of the Career Support Department, said, "For the 2022 graduates, the number of students studying abroad has increased more than usual in anticipation of the after-coronavirus, so the actual employment rate of the Faculty of International Studies has declined slightly.
