 According to the Japan Science and Technology Agency, Associate Professor Hasegawa graduated from the Faculty of Engineering at Osaka City University, completed a doctoral course at the Graduate School of Engineering at Kyoto University, and served as a special researcher at the National Institute for Environmental Studies before assuming his current position in 2019.He specializes in environmental systems engineering and environmental engineering, and was the lead author of the Third Working Group on the Sixth Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).He was recognized for his unique analysis of global agriculture and land use using simulation models he developed, and for his contributions to climate change countermeasures.

 Professor Ota graduated from the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Aizu and completed a doctoral course at the Graduate School of Computer Science and Engineering.He will assume his current position in 2022 after serving as a visiting researcher at the University of Waterloo in Canada and as an associate professor at Muroran Institute of Technology.He specializes in information communications and information networks, and is also director of the Computer Science Center at Muroran Institute of Technology.In order to take advantage of the high frequency band (millimeter waves) that is attracting attention in next-generation communications, the company is achieving results by maximizing communication efficiency by using special reflectors.
