Nanzan University and Sophia University, which are catholic universities, have played a central role in the "Federation of Catholic Universities of Japan" and have contributed to the promotion and improvement of Catholic universities and the development of academic culture in Japan.The two universities have been jointly engaged in student exchanges such as the sports competition "Sophia University Nanzan University Comprehensive Competition" that has continued since 1960, and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's "University Global Expansion Strengthening Project". We have continued to cooperate, such as promoting internationality through implementation.
