The Graduate School of Education at Temple University, Japan Campus (TUJ) will offer online courses in its master's and doctoral programs starting in the fall 2024 semester.

 With the establishment of online courses, students can now choose their desired course format from three options: traditional face-to-face, fully online courses that can be taken from anywhere in Japan or overseas, or a combination of both, increasing the efficiency and convenience of learning. , flexibility is improved.

 At the same time, TUJ has started a new cohort* in its doctoral program, with both online and face-to-face sessions at the Tokyo campus. For both cohorts, students can choose between face-to-face only, online only, or a combination of both, but the course format cannot be changed midway through the semester. By offering online courses, students will be able to participate in this doctoral program from anywhere in Japan or around the world, improving access. Students will be able to expand their networks and gain richer learning experiences. The content of the online course is the same as the face-to-face course. Leveraging the expertise of our outstanding faculty, we provide global insights and specialized content embedded in our doctoral programs.

 Additionally, most of the newly established online courses in the master's program are conducted in real time, but three courses called ``MC (``Main Campus'' = ``Main Campus'') courses are taught at the main campus in Philadelphia. These courses will be taught by faculty from Temple University's main campus in the United States, providing students with an opportunity to further expand their global perspective and be exposed to more diverse educational methods.
