The tea ceremony experience was held in Gunjo no Ma on the 4th floor of Kanazawa Seiryo University Global Commons with the cooperation of the Tea Ceremony Club. They also received an explanation about the history of the tea ceremony, which deepened their understanding.

An international student who experienced the tea ceremony said, ``In Taiwan, we don't have the custom of sitting seiza, so my legs hurt while sitting seiza, but it was still a good experience. The matcha and sweets were also very delicious. Also, the atmosphere of the Japanese-style room was... It was very quiet and I was able to calm my mind.'' (C.Y.) ``I learned that the tea ceremony is a traditional Japanese culture and is a ritual that values tranquility of the mind and sense of beauty. ,The moment I entered the tea room, I felt a different dimension of silence and peace.Once I stepped inside, I felt as if I had been released from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The steps of the tea ceremony were also just one. Each one was made with great care, and I was able to reflect on the cup of tea in front of me.I learned that it is important to express gratitude with each sip when drinking tea. I learned that the tea ceremony shows that the spirit of sharing and gratitude is important,'' said Mr. S.Y.
