Reitaku University, which works on its own project-based learning, is a new program to connect the ability of students who discover problems and devise solutions to not only volunteer activities but also commercialization. Reitaku Startup Support Program ”has started.
"Startup" is to bring about changes in people's lives and open up new markets by focusing on social issues and devising measures to solve and improve them.Currently, even in the business world, human resources who can do this "startup" are required.
Therefore, at Reitaku University, volunteer activities are offered to students who are practicing "Project Based Learning" through the university's unique "Reitaku / Regional Collaboration Training *" and "Independent Planning Seminar *". We planned the "Reitaku Startup Support Program" to provide further learning that will lead to commercialization.
The program is all 4 times.The instructor is Masato Iino (co-representative of Learning Entrepreneurs Lab Co., Ltd.), a startup support expert who participates in the management of multiple startups in Japan and the United States. The first "Idea Idea Workshop" was held on October 2019, 10, in which participants hold workshops for each group. From the second time, you will learn more concretely the knowledge necessary for startups, such as "Depth Interview" which is one of the qualitative researches used when conducting market research and "Lean Startup" which is a management method to start up a business or a new business.
At Reitaku University, we hope that this "Reitaku Startup Support Program" will be a good opportunity for students who are aiming to start a business as well as those who are not, to improve their basic skills as a member of society.
* "Reitaku / Regional Collaboration Training" is a practice course newly established in 2017.Students choose a theme from local governments and corporate issues, conduct off-campus hearings, fieldwork surveys, and group discussions to devise solutions and improvement measures.Give a presentation in front of the people concerned and receive an evaluation.
* "Self-planning seminar" is a unique seminar system in which students select themes they want to learn and teachers who want to receive guidance, make a learning plan, and proceed with learning.
