Keio University Institute for Advanced Life Sciences has signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement with Nihon Unisys, a major IT service company, with the aim of solving social issues and contributing to the development of local communities by utilizing advanced science and technology.In the future, in Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture, we will research ways to solve social issues that have an international impact and contribute to the local community, and work on human resource development.

 The Institute for Advanced Life Sciences was established by Keio University on the Tsuruoka Town Campus in Tsuruoka City in 2001 as a place for full-scale bioscience research.Using cutting-edge science and technology such as metabolome analysis technology, we comprehensively measure the cell activity of living organisms and microorganisms, analyze and simulate big data with a computer, and apply it to improve the quality of medical care, foods, agricultural products, etc.
