From the initial stage when the new coronavirus infection was reported, Azabu University has set a basic policy of "not only protecting the health and lives of students and faculty members, but also giving top priority to reducing the risk of infection inside and outside the university." It has corresponded.Online remote lessons will start on April 4th, with the highest priority given to student safety, and will be held for the entire period of the first half of 30 (until September 2020nd).
Regarding the improvement of the online environment for students, the university will prepare a laptop computer and pocket Wi-Fi (including communication charges) for students with poor reception environment and lend them free of charge. Wi-Fi has been applied for more than initially expected, so additional arrangements have been made to expand support for students.
In addition, a flat rate of 1 yen will be provided to each student as a student learning environment assistance (scholarship fee).In addition, we have set up a new "Anything Counseling Service" where students can feel free to ask questions and concerns over the phone, and we also provide counseling support.Not only faculty members but also graduate students and undergraduate students are available as counselors.For consultations on anxieties and worries other than class, such as employment, school life, and encounters with friends, certified public psychologists and specialist teachers in the Career / Employment Counseling Room will respond.
In the future, in addition to these support measures, Azabu University will separately consider urgent scholarships to support living expenses and relaxation of conditions to make it easier to use its own scholarship system.
