For remote pregnant women's medical examinations, with the consent of pregnant women, the medical data card application "MeDaCa" is used.Medical examinations by video calls between doctors and pregnant women, test results, prescription copy data, etc. are sent online to the app.In addition, using Chubu Electric Power's data platform, doctors will check blood pressure and weight data measured at home by pregnant women at the time of medical examination.
Even if the new coronavirus is widespread, remote medical examinations can reduce the risk of infection and the physical and mental burden of going to the hospital for pregnant women.Furthermore, by utilizing blood pressure and weight data at home, you can receive the same detailed medical treatment as face-to-face with peace of mind at home.In the future, we would like to use smartphones to carry out regular maternity checkups as far as possible.
