The Sakai Seminar has been collaborating with the Municipal Koyama Natural Environment Center for three years to convey the charm of Nishinomiya's nature to local children, such as breeding killifish that carry a gene unique to Nishinomiya.
As part of this, cultivation began in 2014 in order to utilize "Naruo Strawberries" cultivated in the Naruo district where the university is located as regional teaching materials. In 2015, we started strawberry cultivation on the roof of the school education center that opened, and as a result of increasing the number of children, "Rabbie Strawberry" was born, which was named after the school character "Rabbie".Nowadays, along with a delivery class that tells the history of "Naruo Strawberry" to elementary school students, a cultivation kit of "Rabbie Strawberry" is presented at events.This year, the cultivation area will be expanded five times, and a harvest of about 5 kg is expected.

In the future, after improving the soil in the fields and planting 500 seedlings, a class on the history of "Naruo Strawberries" and how to grow "Rabbie Strawberries" will be held for second grade elementary school students in the city in early November. schedule.
