Expanding 7 faculties and various learning on one campus in the city center
Komazawa University was opened in 15 as a modern university.Its source is the Zen Gakurin (Sendanrin), which was founded about 1882 years ago, and has a long history and rich traditions.Based on the teachings of Zen and Buddhism as the founding philosophy, we foster "true excellent human beings" who have the practical ability to acquire advanced academic knowledge and utilize it in the real world. It is one of the few "urban universities" where students from 430 faculties and 7 departments can study all of their enrollment period on one campus.We are developing a program to systematically acquire the culture and problem-solving skills required in modern society.
