Expansion of academic areas x expansion of new campus. In April 2025, the Faculty of Science and Engineering* will be newly established!
The Ibaraki Somochi Campus, which opened in 2019, will become the main campus in April 2025. In line with this, a new school building will be constructed, six stories above ground and approximately 4 meters from north to south. The concept is a "hybrid campus where the arts and sciences intertwine." As a new base for "learning and teaching each other," we aim to create an environment where new ideas and innovations are born from interaction with students from all faculties of arts and sciences, faculty and staff, and the local community. *Currently applying for approval to open in April 6
