At the University of Tokyo, on September 2016, 9, 16 students who will be the first students of PEAK (Programs in English at Komaba) graduated from the second half of the Faculty of Liberal Arts.
PEAK was founded in 2012 by the College of Liberal Arts, which has been engaged in the enhancement and development of liberal arts education and advanced education and research with the keywords of "interdisciplinary" and "interdisciplinary".In the first two years, take the first semester curriculum "International Liberal Arts Course", and in the second semester (2rd and 3th grade), go on to "International Japanese Studies Course (JEA)" or "International Environmental Studies Course (ES)". Complete the specialized course curriculum.
The entrance examination is conducted by the Admission Office (AO) entrance examination by documents and interview examination for students who have taken primary and secondary education in languages other than Japanese, but students who have entered the general entrance examination also from the second semester course. It is possible to go on to the "International Japanese Studies Course" and "International Environmental Studies Course".
The 15 first-year students of PEAK attended the autumn diploma awarding ceremony and graduation ceremony held at Yasuda Auditorium in Hongo in the morning.In the afternoon, the place was moved to the Komaba International Building for Education and Research on the Komaba I Campus, and the PEAK Autumn Dean Conferral Ceremony was held in the presence of Kunihiro Ota, Yuko Fujigaki, and Takumi Moriyama.
At the University of Tokyo, we are looking forward to the future of PEAK first-year students who gathered from various regions of the world, studied at PEAK for four years, and then went on to graduate schools and companies in various regions of the world again.
