Shimane Prefecture is recruiting participants for the "Ruby Training Camp" from November 2021, 11.The target audience is students and young people under the age of 15.It is a 25-day online training camp where you can experience programming as a team using the programming language "Ruby".

 Shimane Prefecture started "Ruby training camp" in 2008.It is provided free of charge for the purpose of interacting with pre-employment young people and IT companies in the prefecture, and further developing the programming skills of pre-employment young people.This time, in order to prevent the spread of new coronavirus infections, it will be held online (Zoom) following the training camp in the spring of 2021.

 In the training camp, a team of several people will create a 3D shooting game with reference to the sample program.There will also be a lecture by Yukihiro Matsumoto, a Ruby developer, a tour of IT companies in Shimane Prefecture, and an exchange meeting with IT companies.
