Professor Hiroyoshi Arai of the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Tokyo, Naoya Yahagi, Associate Professor of Nutrigenomics Research Group, University of Tsukuba, Smile Lab (President, Takahiro Ito, Tokyo) of major game maker "Square Enix Group", Healthcare Venture Habitas Care (Tokyo, President Shinichiro Debuchi) has agreed on joint research on healthcare services.As the first step, we will introduce the results of joint research into a cat breeding game for smartphones.
According to Smile Lab, the joint research is the health care function to be introduced in the cat breeding game "Nyan Pedometer" for smartphones developed and operated by Smile Lab. In May, as an event in the "Nyan Pedometer", we will carry out a plan to receive limited items when the day when 5 steps are achieved during the target period exceeds 8,000 days.
"Nyan Pedometer" has a pedometer, and as you walk, you will learn cute gestures such as the cats in the game becoming hairy.Calories burned are also automatically calculated from the number of steps.
In the future, in collaboration with Professor Arai of the University of Tokyo and Associate Professor Yahagi of Tsukuba University, we will acquire and accumulate healthcare data on lifestyle-related diseases such as diabetes, dyslipidemia, and hypertension, and consider new approaches.
Smile Lab has started to consider a new service in collaboration with the University of Tokyo and others in order to provide an application that can improve health while having fun.
