Seven & i Group's major convenience store Seven-Eleven Japan (President Kazuki Furuya, Tokyo) has decided to sign a memorandum of understanding for international cooperation with six major Vietnamese universities, including Hanoi University.Seven-Eleven Japan will provide Vietnamese students with an opportunity to deepen their understanding of the international community and prepare for their success through the acceptance of internships.

 According to Seven-Eleven Japan, the memorandum of understanding will be signed by Hanoi University, National University Ho Chi Minh City University of Humanities and Social Sciences, Hanoi National University Foreign Language University, Trade University, Ho Chi Minh City Institute of Technology, and Dong A University.
Seven-Eleven Japan will provide Vietnamese students with opportunities for internships in Japan, as well as research and implement educational programs for Vietnamese students to deepen their understanding of the international community.

 Convenience stores are small stores, but by working at the store, you can understand management figures such as sales, expenses, and profits, and experience the basics of marketing such as trade area analysis and sales forecasting.It is said that the knowledge learned will be useful for retailing in Vietnam and finding employment in Japan.

 Seven-Eleven Japan will also conclude a memorandum of cooperation with Ohara Gakuen, a school corporation that offers bookkeeping courses in Japanese at major universities in Vietnam.Ohara Gakuen will utilize the examples of Seven-Eleven Japan when teaching the basics of management and marketing, and will also serve as a contact point for internship introductions to Vietnamese students and international students.
