Kinjo Gakuin University (Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture) A student of the Department of Environmental Design cooperated in making the interior decoration of the Higashiyama Line vehicle to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the opening of the Nagoya Municipal Subway.The installation of specially designed seats and straps was the first attempt on the Nagoya Municipal Subway.The decorated special train has been in operation since November 2017, 11.

　Kinjo Gakuin University and the Transportation Bureau City of Nagoya started the "City Bus / Subway Attractive Creation Project Utilizing Student Power" in August 1, a year ago.The purpose is to create new attractions for city buses and subways by utilizing the flexible creativity and information power of students, and to contribute to the promotion of use and the revitalization of the city.

　After that, at Kinjo Gakuin University, 22 students studying environmental design started the "Kinjo Gakuin University Environmental Design Special Project Team 2016".Taking advantage of the perspectives of environmental design studies and women, I have been engaged in research on creating attractiveness in stations and in-car spaces.

　The hanging hands of the special train are dyed on the colorful handles of the subway line color.The belt is controlled by the water and is designed to make the inside of the car bright and enjoyable.The seats are arranged with the logo mark of the 60th anniversary of the opening of the subway, and the seating position is made easy to understand, which is devised to improve etiquette.This strap and seat will be installed on the first car of the leading car on the Takabata side of one of the 48 trains on the Higashiyama Line (N1 type car), and will be in operation until mid-March 1000.
