Students of the Takamine Seminar, a third-year student in the Faculty of Political Economy, Meiji University, created a "Job Hunting Sexual Harassment Prevention Pamphlet" that summarizes the current situation and countermeasures for sexual harassment, so-called "job hunting sexual harassment," which is performed by corporate employees to students who are looking for a job. ..It was supervised by the Japan Harassment Association, which supports corporate harassment countermeasures as a harassment expert.

In the "Job Hunting Sexual Harassment Prevention Pamphlet" produced by students, the most common situation when receiving "Job Hunting Sexual Harassment" was "OB / OG visit", and "sexual teasing" and "relentless invitation to meals" were reported. In addition to the current situation, we will introduce measures to prevent damage such as "meeting OB / OG employees certified by the company" and consultation points in case of damage. "Just because you're in a position to be hired, you don't have to answer questions or requests that aren't directly related to selection or work," he said.

The reason for producing the pamphlet was that the theme of the joint research conducted by all the seminar students for one year was decided to be "gender issues at the time of job hunting".Specifically, what kind of gender issues are lurking (make manners course and clothes limited to female job hunters, difference in the number of men and women hired for general and general jobs, wage gap, etc.), and as a result, at the time of job hunting It is said that he arrived at the sexual harassment of.From there, many questions were raised, such as what sexual harassment is and whether there is a law that can be followed when harassment occurs, and I decided to study it.Initially, I had no plans to produce a pamphlet, but after about a year of research, I felt the need to raise awareness about "job hunting sexual harassment" more widely, so I decided to produce it.

After repeated research on job hunting sexual harassment, it was found that job hunting students do not belong to workers, so there is no law to be followed, and because they are job seekers and have a weak position, they are disadvantageous to employment even if they are damaged. There are many cases where I endure it for that reason.Regarding the current situation, some companies are taking measures, but it is hard to say that sexual harassment occurring outside the company is fully recognized, and there is no obligation to take preventive measures regarding sexual harassment of job hunters. Measures for job hunting sexual harassment are in short supply. There was also the issue of being required to strengthen responsiveness to job hunting sexual harassment at university career centers.
