 According to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, a total of 67 people took the public school teacher employment exams of 7,876 prefectures, ordinance-designated city boards of education, and the Toyono District Teachers' Personnel Council in Osaka Prefecture, down 12 from the previous year.The total number of recruits was 6,391, down 793 from the previous year, and the overall hiring ratio was 3, down from 4,274 in the previous year. 3.8 times is the lowest ever, on par with 3.7.The adoption rate increased in 3.7 local governments, but decreased in 1991 local governments.

 Looking at the results by examination category, the hiring ratio for elementary school teachers was 2.6 times, lower than the previous year's 2.5 times.The number of applicants was 4, and the number of new graduates increased by 636 compared to the previous year, but the number of existing graduates decreased by 256 compared to the previous year.

 The hiring ratio has been on a long-term downward trend since FY2000.The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology plans to encourage improvements, such as adding content that incorporates diverse knowledge and experience.
