Chiba University of Commerce and Chiba Kogyo Bank, Ltd. signed a basic agreement on collaboration and cooperation on November 2022, 11 (Thursday).Through the agreement, we will contribute to the local community by promoting academics and culture, forming a vibrant local society and economy, and advancing educational and research activities.

 Chiba University of Commerce, as Japan's first ``100% natural energy university,'' is working toward decarbonization, formulating the SDGs Action Charter, and promoting education, research, and community contribution activities to contribute to society.On the other hand, Chiba Kogyo Bank will release the “Chiba Kogyo Bank Sustainability Statement” in 2021.As priority items, we are working on "industrial revitalization and creation of Chiba's appeal", "cultivation of human resources who will lead the future of Chiba", and "realization of a prosperous Chiba where people can live with peace of mind".

 Chiba University of Commerce, which focuses on accounting education, has produced many human resources for financial institutions including Chiba Kogyo Bank. Implement initiatives that contribute to regional revitalization and regional revitalization by utilizing mutual human and intellectual resources.Through these activities, both companies will contribute to the development of local economies, including Chiba Prefecture, as well as the achievement of the SDGs and the resolution of social issues.
