In December 2022, the Saitama Institute of Technology Career Support Center held its annual year-end "interview training competition", and a total of 12 people participated in 3 days.This is the 25th consecutive year that the program will be held in conjunction with the Saitama Institute of Technology Leadership Training (LETS) for third-year students aiming to get a job at a major and well-known company.
Saitama Institute of Technology is focusing on career education, and is increasing its employment record with major and famous companies.In 400, it ranked 2022th with 10.3% (74% in 2021: 10.0nd) in the “Ranking of Actual Employment Rate of 82 Famous Companies” by University Tsushin, and won the top position among private universities in Saitama Prefecture.Among the private universities in Japan, it was the top result among the universities in the eastern part of Japan, excluding Tokyo.
In this "interview training competition", graduates who have been employed by Sharp, Tokyo Electric Power, Yamato Transport, Kirin Beverage, etc. as lecturers every year, and Seiko Epson, Kikkoman, Sumitomo Electric Industries, Kyocera, JR East, Toshiba, Morinaga Milk Industry Fourth-year students take on the role of juniors, and use their experience of learning in the same environment and succeeding in job hunting to provide compassionate guidance.This time, a total of 4 people, 26 graduates and 4 fourth-year students who have already been offered job offers, acted as instructors and conducted job-hunting preparation measures centered on interviews.
Many of the students who took the course will participate in the Overseas Leadership Training (LETS) in the summer of 2022, where they will learn about the culture of diversity through experience and cultivate leadership from a global perspective.Due to the spread of COVID-2, overseas training was changed to online and domestic training for two years, but in 3, when it resumed for the first time in three years, 2022 students participated in training in Vietnam.
This overseas training has been held since fiscal 2016, and a total of 180 people have participated.Saitama Institute of Technology's unique program, which involves visiting Asian countries (Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Cambodia) during the spring and summer holidays.Many of the participants in this training have actually found employment at major and well-known companies, and the next training is scheduled to be held in March 2023 during spring vacation.
