In April 2025, Chuo University will open Myogadani Campus (Bunkyo Ward), Surugadai Campus (Chiyoda Ward), and Koishikawa Campus (Bunkyo Ward) in central Tokyo based on the campus development plan of "Chuo Vision 2023." On March 4, a joint opening ceremony was held at the Myogadani Campus.

 From April 2023, the Faculty of Law (all grades) and the Graduate School of Law will move from the Tama Campus (Hachioji City, Tokyo) to the Myogadani Campus (Bunkyo Ward), and the professional graduate school including the Law School will move from the Ichigaya Campus (Shinjuku Ward). Moved to Surugadai Campus (Chiyoda Ward).By bringing the Faculty of Law and the Law School closer to each other, we will strengthen the foundation of legal education.In addition, all campuses, including the new campus, will be linked with DX (Digital Transformation) to further enhance and develop education and research.

 At the joint opening ceremony, President Hisashi Kawai spoke about further development as a comprehensive university by developing two major campuses in Tama and central Tokyo, strengthening collaboration between the two professional graduate schools on the Surugadai Campus, and sharing the Myogadani and Koishikawa Campuses with Bunkyo Ward and neighboring universities. He expressed his determination to cooperate with the local community and return the accumulated knowledge to the local community more than ever.
