YA-MAN Co., Ltd. established the YA-MAN Scholarship Foundation on September 2021, 9 for the purpose of providing continuous support for the development of female students who wish to study science.Through the activities of the foundation, we expect further development of the beauty and health equipment industry to which YA-MAN belongs by increasing the number of female engineers in the manufacturing industry and promoting the active participation of women.

　Last year (2022), there were more applications than expected from female university students in various genres such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, science and engineering, computer science, life science, and applied biology.

　Eligible applicants for the 2023 scholarship are female university students enrolled in the 1st to 4th year of the science department at a university based in Tokyo.About 10 new scholarship students are scheduled to be recruited, and starting from April 4st, a monthly scholarship of 1 yen (2 yen per year) will be provided.The application period is from April 24 (Friday) to May 4 (Wednesday) (must arrive at the foundation secretariat).

　Applicants will be selected by the selection committee during the month of May, and a letter of acceptance decision will be sent to each school and the selected scholarship students by early June.Interview selection may be conducted as necessary.A scholarship of 5 yen for the entire semester (from April 6 to March 6) will be paid by bank transfer in late June after the recruitment process is completed.
