Osaka University has signed an agreement with cosmetics manufacturer Mandom under a cross-appointment system (* 1).While Mandom employees are involved in in-house work, he also works as a full-time specially appointed assistant professor at the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Osaka University, and also promotes research guidance work.
According to Mandom, the first target of the cross-appointment system under this agreement is female employees who belong to the Life Science Laboratory of the Mandom Foundation Research Institute.Engaged in research to build an evaluation method for searching for active ingredients in cosmetics using cutting-edge technologies such as regenerative medicine technology at Mandom, as well as international joint research with overseas faculty members and students at the Advanced Cosmetics Science Joint Research Course at Osaka University.
