From July 2023, 7, Showa Women's University will hold the "BAA-SWU Joint Summer Program" jointly with its partner school, Business Academy Aarhus (BAA) in Denmark.Students from both schools will visit companies, learn together in English about the latest issues related to international finance, economics, and business, and consider global corporate management from the perspective of ESG and SDGs.Make a presentation proposing solutions to problems.
BAA is a business college located in Aarhus, Denmark's second largest city.From Showa Women's University, 2 students from 14 departments, including the Department of Business Design, and 2 faculty members from undergraduate and graduate schools participated.
Students will visit the Danish Embassy, the Tokyo Stock Exchange, finance companies, and renewable energy companies to hear about their initiatives and awareness of issues.In addition, they received lectures from teachers from both schools, and in the workshop, they were divided into 5 groups from both schools, researched and analyzed global companies, discovered issues, and presented solutions related to ESG/SDGs on the final day, August 8th.
