Studyplus Inc.'s Studyplus Trend Research Institute will conduct a "survey on university open campuses" targeting middle school and high school students nationwide on the learning management app "Studyplus" from October 2023th to November 10st, 27. The results of the survey were made public. Number of respondents: 11.

According to the survey, regarding when they first participated in an open campus, half of them participated by their first year of high school and 1% by their second year of high school. I found that it was becoming more active. Regarding "Do you ever participate in one university's open campus multiple times?", 88% of students answered that the maximum number of times they can participate in one university's open campus is once, and the remaining 2/2 of the students said, The answer was that they had participated in the same university's open campus multiple times. When we asked students whose reason for attending a single university at most once, the most common answer (76.8%) was ``the university I want to apply to,'' followed by ``school assignments'' at 1%. Among students who participated multiple times, the most common reason given was ``because I had high aspirations'' at 4%.

Regarding the status of participation in open campuses held by universities with high aspirations, approximately 8% of respondents participated and approximately 2% did not participate. When we asked students who had high aspirations but did not participate why they did not participate, the most common responses were ``the reservation capacity was exceeded'', ``the schedule did not match'', and ``the location was difficult''. In addition, when asked about ``the reason for becoming aware of Open Campus,'' ``the university homepage'' was the most cited answer at 74.3%. In addition, routes such as "SNS" at 18.3% and "web advertisement" at 7.7% also showed a strong presence, resulting in higher points than TV commercials and transportation advertisements.

When asked about changes that occurred after participating in the open campus, more than 9% of students answered that their desire to apply increased after participating in the open campus. The results showed that experiencing a university campus is extremely important.

Based on the results of this survey, the Studyplus Trend Institute concluded, ``Overall, open campus participation was active up to the second year of high school, and there was a tendency to calm down a little from the second year to the third year of high school. More than 2% of the students who participated answered that their desire to apply had increased, so it seems important for student recruitment PR to be able to attract students to Open Campus while they are still in their early grades. University homepages were the most popular route for recognition, but among advertising methods, web advertising was the most popular, and around 2% of people were recognized via SNS.First and second year high school students before studying for entrance exams gets into full swing. At this stage, how we can attract attention through digital media is likely to be the key to the success of Open Campus in the future.''

Reference: [Study Plus] Approximately 2% of students participate in open campus events by their second year of high school, and the most common cognitive route is "university homepage," with a tendency toward "digital" > "mass advertising." Conducting “Survey”
