Applicants must meet certain conditions, such as being an undergraduate student at Kyoto Notre Dame University at the time of application and having excellent character and academic ability, and will enter Nara Institute of Science and Technology from 2 onwards.

　Nara Institute of Science and Technology has similar agreements with Showa Women's University, Kyoto Women's University, Yamato University, Akita International University, and International Christian University, and Kyoto Notre Dame is the sixth university to do so.

　In addition, Kyoto Notre Dame University signed a memorandum of understanding with Ochanomizu University in April 2023 regarding interdisciplinary data science education. In order to smoothly implement a project that contributes to the spread of data science education that integrates the humanities and sciences (data science education project), we have been conducting data science education using teaching materials from Ochanomizu University since 4.
