Yokohama City, Toin University of Yokohama, and SoftBank Corp. will collaborate to provide remote technical guidance for club activities using ICT (Information and Communication Technology) for the purpose of enhancing junior high school club activities and reducing the burden on faculty and staff. Trial implementation for soccer club (15 students and 2 advisors).

Until now, the city of Yokohama has been working to support club activities, such as by assigning "club activity instructors" who can serve as advisors to the school.Furthermore, in the future, we will reduce the mental burden on faculty and staff who feel "anxiety and burden of being an advisor for club activities that have no competition experience, although it is not enough to assign external personnel". In collaboration with Toin University of Yokohama and SoftBank Corp., we have decided to introduce a remote technical guidance system for club activities that utilizes ICT (Information and Communication Technology) so that students can receive more specialized technical guidance.

For the remote technical guidance system, SoftBank Corp. lent a tablet terminal to junior high school.Toin University of Yokohama has created a body-building program that makes it difficult to get injured and effectively engages in club activities on the "Skill Structure Map" that assembles steps for gradually acquiring skills according to the type of club activities. In addition, we will build and provide a "remote area support system for schools".At junior high school, we took a video of the students in club activities and uploaded them to the remote instruction system.Toin University of Yokohama confirms the content of the video uploaded from junior high school, creates instructional comments and videos, and uploads them to the system. At junior high school, students check uploaded instructional comments and videos to improve their skills.

By incorporating "remote guidance" into the guidance of club activities, students can receive guidance after objectively grasping their own movements through videos, and develop the ability to solve problems on their own. It is expected that they can work on their own initiative. In addition, since "remote guidance" is provided by students who aim to become teachers, students are also involved in guidance to junior high school students while incorporating the specialized knowledge learned at the university, improving practical leadership and developing human resources. Is also expected to be connected.
