IDP Education (Headquarters: Melbourne, Australia), which is a co-owner of the English 4 Skills Test "IELTS" and conducts study abroad support projects, is planning to study abroad at English-speaking universities in April 2020. We conducted a questionnaire survey of students regarding the "Study Abroad Plan in Corona".

The survey was conducted online and conducted at ages 72-56 in 22 countries (29% Indian and other Asian countries) planning to study at higher education institutions in English-speaking countries (Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Ireland, USA). However, 6,954 valid responses were obtained. The period is from April 2020th to 4th, 17.

As a result of the survey, 69% of the respondents wish to study abroad at an English-speaking university that has been admitted as planned, 5% of the students are considering canceling the study abroad, and the respondents who have not decided the plan at this time. It was 26%.

Only 10% of students answered that they are willing to study abroad online. Most of the students who traveled to the study abroad destination and wished to have face-to-face lessons answered, "We plan to postpone study abroad until the lessons are resumed." If so, take an online class. "

When asked about their concerns about taking online classes, about 7% said that they could not get the international experience they expected through studying abroad. After all, it can be said that many international students in Asia place as much importance on the international experience gained from the local life and campus life at the study abroad destination as much as learning through university classes.
