With the enforcement of the revised School Education Law, those who have completed high school majors have been granted university transfer qualifications from April.The advanced course is aimed at high school graduates, and in the process of providing more advanced education, it is transferred to the second year of university or higher, equivalent to junior colleges, colleges of technology, and vocational school graduates with a period of study of two years or more. By being able to do so, the range of career choices will be greatly expanded.
According to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, only those who are eligible for university transfer are eligible.

■ Course completion requirement is 62 credits or more
■ There are classrooms and facilities dedicated to advanced courses
-Limited to majors that meet the conditions such as.If the advanced course meets the standards, students who have completed the course before the enforcement of the revised law are also eligible.This system also applies to the second half of secondary school, which promotes integrated middle and high school education, and the specialized departments in the high school of special schools.
There are 68 public and 64 private high school majors nationwide, with approximately 1 enrolled students.More than half are related to nursing and fisheries, and are aiming to acquire difficult national qualifications such as nurses and mariners while in high school.Until now, it was treated the same as a high school graduate due to the system, so in order to go on to university, it was necessary to pass the entrance examination and start from the first grade.
Currently, most of the students aim to acquire national qualifications, and it is said that there are not so many applicants for university transfer.However, with this revision of the law, it is likely that more and more high schools will be provided with advanced courses for five years.
