Showa Women's University Faculty of Environmental Design and Tokyo City University Faculty of Urban Life, located in Setagaya Ward, Tokyo, have signed an inter-faculty agreement on the theme of "universal future city design that is comfortable and sustainable for everyone."
Showa Women's University Faculty of Environmental Design and Tokyo City University Faculty of Urban Life will utilize the strengths of both in research and education to contribute to the realization of one of the SDGs (sustainable development goals), "town development that allows people to continue living." We will deepen cooperation.
On February 2021, 2, a symposium will be held on the theme of "town development that allows people to continue living with the SDGs" to commemorate the conclusion of the agreement.The symposium consists of three parts. The first part is a keynote speech by Makiko Nagaya, a full-time lecturer at Showa Women's University, Faculty of Global Business. The department will hold a panel discussion by the speakers.
